Ding dong, the witch is dead, so says the children’s rhyme. In this case she isn’t dead, just demoted by the will of We the People. Nevertheless, Nancy Pelosi’s powers will be greatly reduced in a few hours as John Boehner is officially elected to control the gavel and the powerful role of Speaker of the House of Representatives. Of course, Nancy had to make one more stand in front of the cameras and microphones yesterday where her memory was as false as her fluttering eyelashes.
